Ed Kohler Induction into Drag Racing Hall of Fame

This event was part of an annual three day affair sponsored by the Vance County Tourism office and organized by Nancy Wilson.
The weather cooperated nicely as the blue skies and cool autumn air brought fans from all over the country. Including Ed's friends Art Carr and George Fencl who came all the way from California.
There were people and cars everywhere the eye could see in all directions. There were vendors selling everything from photos & magazines, to shirts and turkey legs! People were thrilled to see the cars and events of the weekend. As they strolled the streets of Henderson, NC in the lovely October weather.
There was even an interesting display of Corbitt trucks - made right in Henderson back in the 50's
