Ed Kohler has teamed up with King Kong once again.
Although it is no longer behind the wheel doing burn-outs and wheelies, Ed Kohler has re-joined his old friend on the road. The duo were seen at the National Hot Rod Reunion in Columbus, somewhat incognito - since King Kong has his colors but was lacking his lettering and his gorilla 'skin'. nd
Old friend Jim Shores stopped by to say hello, decked out in his supurb wheels, complete with wheelie bars and header pipes! It is always good to see Jim, and it was great to see Jim and Ed have the opportunity to chat about old times again.
The three of us, with Kong in tow, made our way to the York Reunion as well. King Kong surprised the crowd with his lettering and gorilla matching what he had in the 60's.
Be sure to see Ed with King Kong at the upcoming Willys Home Run in Lancaster, NY Friday, August 10th through the 12th where Ed will be the Grand Marshall of the event.
Then in October, come join us in Henderson, NC for the East Coast Drag Times Hall of Fame. Ed will be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
